2026 Live Racing Season

The Minnesota Racing Commission has unanimously approved Canterbury Park’s 51-day 2026 live meet, running Saturday, May 23 through Saturday, September 19. The season features live thoroughbred and quarter horse racing on select Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays throughout the summer.

Canterbury Park sits on 355 acres in Shakopee and features a one-mile oval dirt track and a seven-furlong turf course — one of the most complete racing facilities in the Midwest.
