Minnesota Renaissance Festival
Weekends through September 28, 2025 plus Labor Day and Festival Friday, September 26
Explore the country’s largest Renaissance Festival, complete with live jousting, kid-friendly activities, an artisan market with over 250 vendors, and dozens of entertainers. Each weekend has a unique theme: bring your dog along to Woofstock (August 30-September 1); visit with Vikings during Bold North Adventure (September 6-7); channel your inner Michaelango at Experience Love for the Arts (September 13-14); celebrate with your sweetheart at Wine, Chocolate & Romance (September 20-21); and raise a stein at Oktoberfest (September 27-28).

From a corn maze and hay rides to pumpkins and caramel apples, Sever’s Fall Festival is the quintessential autumn experience. Expect kid-friendly attractions like an extreme corn pit, petting zoo, and live family entertainment throughout each day, including wildlife shows, pig races, magic shows, and Kidsdance. There are plenty of activities for adults, too, including an artisan market, live music from Blue Ox Jazz Babies, and street food eats like mochi donuts and tamales.
Pick your own apples and pumpkins at Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest, with over 20 apple varieties including Honeycrisp, Zestar!, and Haralson. Keep the kids occupied at Apple Blossom Park, where they can meet farm animals, mine for gems, navigate a corn maze, and more. Don’t forget to stop by the Country Store and Craft Cider Bar, which is stocked with fresh apple cider donuts and baked goods, jams, farm-themed toys, and other gift items.

Get in the mood for spooky season at Valleyfair’s kid-friendly daytime celebration. In addition to rides the whole family will enjoy, Tricks and Treats includes Halloween activities, live entertainment, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and themed food and drinks.

Brave thrill rides, haunted mazes, and scare zones at the Twin Cities’ largest Halloween event. Prepare to be terrified as creepy creatures roam the park. There will also be live entertainment and Halloween-themed eats and alcoholic beverages.

Venture to the grounds of the Minnesota Renaissance for an evening of ghost stories hosted by Jim Cunningham and a four-course seasonal dinner featuring dishes like corn chowder and chicken with butternut squash ravioli. A ghost hunt follows each show, and vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu options are available.
