Have you ever wanted to swim across a sea of corn kernels? Well, your day has come — Sever’s Corn Maze & Fall Festival has exactly what you’ve been searching for. Throughout the year, Valleyfair remains one of the most spectacularly fun places to visit in all of Minnesota and the midwest region. Visit their scary “Carnevil” rides and adventures, the spooky Blood Creek Cemetery, and even go back to the land before time with Dinoslaughter. If you are looking for something on the scarier side this year, be prepared to shake in your boots at the Trail of Terror. Explore the haunted woods, Hotel 666, the Hogtied Pub Crawl, and many more terrifying attractions. For the more faint of heart, scare free attractions are also offered during the Halloween season.
As the official harvest season begins, it is time to gather the delicious fall fruits and veggies we’ve grown all year. And nothing says fall more than some warm apple pie! Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard is the perfect space to pick over 25 varieties of apples, take a hayride, and spend the day with your family. Be sure to take a visit before Halloween this year to experience the beauty and fun for yourself!

If you have children ages 10 and under, Shakopee has the perfect event for your family: Pumpkins in the Park! Hosted by the Shakopee Chamber & Visitors Bureau, the event will include a trick-or-treat trail, games, beverages, snacks, and even festive face painting.
One of Shakopee’s biggest annual festivals returns! The 2016 Minnesota Renaissance Festival kicks off late summer and continues until October. From themed weekends, to a unique marketplace, and live entertainment, this is the perfect event to bring your entire family.
