2026 Halloween Events for Adults

This Halloween, find thrills and chills in Shakopee! From immersive scares to craft brews, there are plenty of ways to celebrate spooky season.

ValleyScare

Friday and Saturday nights through October 31, 2026

Immerse yourself in a terrifying night filled with creepy characters and thrill rides at the Twin Cities’ largest Halloween event. Get lost in one of the indoor haunted mazes, with frightening themes like Beserkers Valkyries’ Vengeance, Mr. Cleaver’s Bloodshed, Cryptidland, and the 7 Deadly Scares. Brave scare zones with eerie atmospheres and jump scares, including Hemlock’s Coven, Blood on the Boundary Waters, and CarnEVIL: Midway of Mayhem.

ValleyScare also features a lineup of Halloween-themed shows, from fire juggling and comedy to eerie choreography and captivating music. Halloween food and beverages are available throughout the park, including specialty cocktails and decadent desserts.

Phantom’s Feast

Select dates October 16-November 1, 2026

Spend a haunting evening hosted by Jim Cunningham on the grounds of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Tickets include entertainment and a four-course meal with an autumn harvest chop salad, cream of mushroom soup, seared pork tenderloin medallions, and dessert (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options by request). Don’t miss the ghost hunt following each show.

Brewhall Halloween Party

Follow the Frights at Mystic Lake

Party the night away with free live entertainment, giveaways, drink specials, and a Halloween costume contest with over $13,000 in Mysticash prizes. Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, and other classic horror movie characters will be lurking in the shadows.

Experience the Shakopee Social District on the last night of the regular season. Purchase a alcoholic drink from a participating business, and then explore downtown Shakopee or the Canterbury entertainment neighborhood with a beverage in hand. Drink selection varies by business and can include beer, wine, and cocktails.
