About Mystic Lake Amphitheater
Mystic Lake Amphitheater is opening in summer 2026 as the first large-scale outdoor amphitheater in the Twin Cities metro and the largest in Minnesota. Developed by Swervo Development Corp and operated by Live Nation, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel — owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) — purchased the naming rights to the venue.
Designed from the ground up with fans and artists in mind, the amphitheater delivers superior acoustics, clear sightlines from every seat, and an intimate feel despite its size. The covered lower bowl provides shelter from unpredictable Minnesota weather, while the spacious outdoor plaza offers sweeping views of the Minnesota River Valley.
Located next to Canterbury Park at 712 Canterbury Road in Shakopee, the venue is just five miles north of Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and easily accessible from across the Twin Cities metro via Highway 169.
The venue will host a full summer season spanning rock, country, pop, hip-hop, and more — drawing top national touring acts to Shakopee’s growing entertainment corridor. It is also available for private events accommodating between 50 and 18,968 guests.
