Rhythm on the Rails

Experience Shakopee’s picturesque downtown at Rhythm on the Rails, a free outdoor concert series on Lewis Street. Each concert features a regional headliner and local opening act, as well as family activities and local food and drink vendors. Upcoming shows include Def Leggend-World’s Greatest Tribute to Def Leppard (July 8), The World According to Garth (July 15), Parrothead Paradise-A Tribute to Jimmy Buffet (July 22), and The Fabulous Armadillos Party Band (July 29). Concerts run from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Badger Hill Brewing

Pair a pint with some tunes at Badger Hill Brewing, which hosts live music six nights a week (Wednesdays are reserved for trivia). The taproom also serves espresso and tea drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, plus snacks and pizza.

Shakopee Bowl

Head to Shakopee Bowl for music on the patio from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights through September. Each evening also features drink specials, and there’s a full food menu with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and more.

O’Brien’s Public House

Enjoy a classic Irish pub experience at O’Brien’s Public House. Live music is scheduled every Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Be sure to grab dinner from the wide-ranging menu that includes elevated pub fare and classic Irish dishes.

Catch free live music at Mystic Lake, with the Hop House and Drinx Stage hosting local acts on Friday and Saturday.

See your favorite touring acts at Mystic Lake Showroom. This summer’s schedule includes The Mavericks & Friends (July 25), Cole Swindell (August 13), and Deep Purple with special guest Kansas (August 27).

Canterbury Park

Take in an intimate outdoor show at Canterbury Park, which boasts great sightlines and acoustics. Reserved grandstand seating, VIP tables, and general admission standing room tickets are available. Upcoming shows include Here Come The Mummies (August 28) and Eli Young & LANCO (September 11).

Boardwalk Kitchen & Bar

Hit the dance floor at Boardwalk Kitchen & Bar, which regularly hosts concerts in The Stable, the restaurant’s casual event space. Shows typically have a $10 cover, with drink specials available all night.
