Minnesota Renaissance Festival

The fantastical realm of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival offers plenty of kid-friendly fun. Meet the magical inhabitants of the Fairwing Forest and Mermaid Cove and slithering reptiles at the Herpetological House. Kids can also be knighted by the king at the daily Children’s Knighting Ceremony, attend an enchanted storytime, watch live armoured jousting, and make a medieval-themed craft. On Festival Friday (September 26), check out demonstrations in pottery, glass blowing, music, games, and more.
Weekends September 13-October 26, 2025, plus October 16-17
Head to Sever’s Fall Festival for a picture-perfect fall experience. The harvest festival is famous for its corn maze, but there are enough activities to keep kids of all ages occupied for hours. Zoom down the giant slide, play in a corn pit, bounce on jumping pillows, and meet friendly farm animals at the petting zoo. There’s also live entertainment such as wildlife shows, pig races, magic shows, and Kidsdance, an interactive dance party.
Open daily through November 2, 2025
From freshly picked apples to apple cider donuts, taste your way through the flavors of the season at Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest. In addition to pick-your-own apples and a pumpkin patch, the orchard is home to Apple Blossom Park, a kids’ activity area with rubber duck races, gem mining, corn maze, lawn games, corn pit, and wagon rides. Be sure to stop by the farm market for caramel apples, baked goods, and other treats.
