Sever’s Fall Festival is famous for its massive corn maze—complete the Corn Maze Challenge for the chance to win a $500 cash prize. The festival’s other family activities include a corn pit and extreme corn pit, petting zoo, obstacle course, straw bale maze, and much more. Be sure to catch some of the kid-friendly live entertainment, with acts such as Norm the Magician, Kidsdance, and wildlife shows.

Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest offers an authentic farm experience for all ages. There’s a large pick-your-own apple orchard and u-pick pumpkin patch, plus you can meet friendly farm animals. Visit Apple Blossom Park for family activities including a corn maze, wagon rides, apple cannons, corn pit, and gem mining. There’s also a country store stocked with apple cider donuts, caramel apples, and pies. Grownups can get a locally-brewed beverage at the craft cider bar, and the Harvest Bistro serves lunch food and bakery items.
Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest is open daily through early November, and each admission includes a season pass good for the entire fall.
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum celebrates the fall season with Minnesota-grown apples, pumpkins, and more. Visit the AppleHouse to purchase apples, baked goods, and pumpkins, as well as apple cider mini donuts and apple cider slushies from North Star Donuts. Check out the festive pumpkin displays in the Arboretum gardens starting in mid-September.

Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store might be best known for its enormous selection of sweets, but during the fall season the store also stocks locally-grown apples, pumpkins, and gourds. In addition, there’s a delicious lineup of fall treats like caramel apples, pies, and donuts.
