Carver Park offers 57 drive-up spots and 2 camping spots that you have to hike to in order to find them. These camping spots offer pit latrines and drinking fountains. Cleary Lake Park – Red Pine and Basswood Campgrounds 

Get back to nature at the Red Pine and Basswood Campgrounds in Cleary Lake Regional Park. Red Pine has fifteen walk-to campsites available for people with tents, while Basswood has two RV sites. Although there is no showers or electricity, you can use the water pump, fire ring, and picnic tables while camping around this scenic lake. 

Dakotah Meadows

Voted Best RV Park in Minnesota by readers of Midwest Gaming & Travel, Dakotah Meadows is nestled around a scenic pond in the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. It has spots for RV homes to park, but you can also use your tent. In addition, Dakotah Meadows has Tipi rentals available! Right next to Dakotah Meadows is Mystic Lake Casino. You can also take your crew to the nearby Mall of America, Canterbury Park, or Valleyfair Amusement Park.

Fish Lake Acres

Fish Lake Acres has water and electricity hook-ups for you to use. While camping at Fish Lake Acres, you can enjoy the sandy beaches, roped swimming area, and children’s playground, making it a great camping spot for families. You can enjoy the trails and fishing areas, too. If you want to travel around the area, check out the Minnesota Zoo, Mall of America, Valleyfair Amusement Park, and more.

Minneapolis Southwest KOA

Located only minutes from Shakopee and in the heart of the Minnesota River Valley, the Minneapolis Southwest KOA offers terrific amenities for an enjoyable camping experience.
