Pick out your own vine-ripened pumpkin straight from the patch. Access to the pumpkin patch is free, and you can take a hayride to the patch for a scenic ride through a working farm. ValleyFair’s intense night time Halloween experience has returned, complete with three new spine-chilling mazes and three revamped scare zones. Brave the park’s thrill rides and roller coasters after dark and watch creepy live entertainment. Dare yourself to try the ghoulish blood bag drinks and themed eats. Although there isn’t a minimum age for admission, keep in mind that guests aged 15 or younger need to be accompanied by a chaperone.

Face your deepest fears at this five-acre scream park populated with nearly 100 scarer-actors. Be prepared to be terrified by attractions including the Psycho-delic Circus, Zombie Apocalypse CDC, Oakblood Forest, and Cannibal Cabin. Arrive early to explore the Halloween market, which offers food trucks, palm and tarot readings, local art and craft vendors, and live entertainment. Scream Town is recommended for guests ages 10 and older.

At Scream Town’s sister attraction, a classic fall hayride has been reimagined as a nightmare, complete with immersive sets, special effects, and scares. After being abandoned in the woods, you’ll have to find your way through a haunted house and maze. The Abandoned Hayride is recommended for guests ages 10 and older, with a minimum age of 5 years old.

Get in the Halloween spirit on the grounds of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with dinner and ghost stories. Tickets include entertainment, a four-course meal, beverages, and a ghost hunt after the show. Guests must be ages 17 and older.
