Dog Race Days at Canterbury Park
Cheer on adorable pooches as they race around the track at Canterbury Park. There will be dedicated race days for bulldogs and frenchies (May 26), bassets (June 23), wiener dogs (July 4), miniature poodles and doodles (July 28), and corgis (August 18), plus a “Best in Show” Dog Days Championship (September 1).
Come hungry to Canterbury Park’s summer food festivals! Tickets include live racing admission, cocktail sampling, two drink tickets, and appetizer pairings. Get ready for Wings & Whiskey (June 1), Martinis & Tapas (June 15), BBQ & Bourbon (July 6), Cocktail Carnivale (August 3), Brunch & Bubbly (August 25), and Tacos & Tequila (September 7).

Experience live music in downtown Shakopee, with a free six-week outdoor concert series featuring local opening acts and regional headliners. Attendees can also purchase food and beverages from local vendors, and the event features family-friendly games and activities.
See acclaimed acts in an intimate outdoor setting at Canterbury Park’s Concerts at the Park series. The 2024 lineup includes Night Ranger (June 7), Hairball (June 14), 38 Special (August 2), Craig Morgan (August 16), and Charlie Berens (September 13).
Mystic Lake’s outdoor venue will be hosting exciting concerts and events all summer long, with upcoming shows including country group Lady A (June 13) and boy band New Kids on the Block (June 23).

Lakefront Park in Prior Lake hosts one of the Twin Cities’ largest music festivals, with one night devoted to rock and another focused on country. The rock lineup features Berlin, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and headliners Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. The country lineup includes headliner Dierks Bentley plus Elle King and Morgan Evans.
