2021 Rhythm on the Rails

Looking for some free, family-friendly entertainment?  In the mood to enjoy the warm weather and tasty local eats?  Check out Rhythm on the Rails in Shakopee this summer!

Rhythm on the Rails is a free five-week outdoor concert series held on Lewis Street in downtown Shakopee on Wednesday nights from July 14 through August 11, 2021.  Each evening’s concert runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and includes a regionally-known headliner and a local opening act.  There’s something for everyone, with various musical genres represented, including country, pop, and rock.

In addition to live music, Rhythm on the Rails will feature a delicious lineup of food vendors, with local restaurants such as O’Brien’s Public House, Pablo’s Mexican Restaurant, and Mr. Pig Stuff.  There will also be several food trucks: Cookie Dough Bliss, Taste the Real Nawlins, Kraz’d Foodnatik, Rollin Nolen’s BBQ, and Westy’s Shako Shack.  You can purchase food and drink tickets at the front gate, and keep in mind that vendors will be offering a special, limited event menu.

Rhythm on the Rails is a family-friendly event, and there’s a free kids zone with activities and games.  It’s also a great opportunity to experience historic downtown Shakopee—arrive early to browse local shops or enjoy a meal at a local restaurant.
